Revenue minus expenses minus the loan, insurance and depreciation that run whether or not the car moved. Idle financed cars show their real loss.

Condition evidence

A guided walk-around that maps every panel and rejects a photo that won't compare — so before and after are the same angle, and damage is provable.

Deposits & recovery

Fuel, late return, mileage overage and toll charges become suggested deductions against the held deposit. Nothing is charged automatically.

Live GPS

Where every car is, where it's been, and geofences for the places it shouldn't go. Works with hardware you already have.

Tolls, matched

Import a statement, match each crossing to the rental that was driving, and pass it through. Cross-checked against the GPS trail.

Direct bookings

Your own booking page, so a repeat customer doesn't have to cost you a platform commission.

Where this actually is

Dead Simple Auto is running a real fleet today. It is not yet a product you can sign up for, and it would be daft to pretend otherwise.

Straight about the gaps

No card processing yet. Payments are recorded, not taken — you collect however you collect today.
Early access is hands-on. Setup is a conversation, not a signup form.
GPS needs hardware. It works with common trackers; without one you lose live position and geofencing, and everything else still works.
